The Offer...

Joe knocks on the door.

Mr. Kane: Come on in.

Joe walks in and takes a seat.

Andretti: Have you given my offer some thought?

Mr. Kane: Yes, but I'm not sure that I can do that for you.

Joe gets up and starts pacing the floor.

Andretti: All I ask for is a new contract in exchange for the services of the APA and that's all you can tell me!

Mr. Kane has a worried expression on his face.

Mr. Kane: I don't have the authority to give you a new contr-
-
Joe interrupts him.

Andretti: NO EXCUSES! I'M GOING TO SAY THIS ONE LAST TIME: GIVE ME A NEW CONTRACT OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!

Joe tries to calm himself down.

Andretti: You have until the start of the next Rock Zone to give me that contract, or else.

Mr. Kane: Or else what?

Andretti: I walk and you get your a** kicked by Beach.

Joe heads for the door but turns around just before leaving.

Andretti: Good day, sir.


[I won't actually leave, just an angle.]

Mr. Kane stands up

Mr. Kane: You enter my office, offering help, but ends up threatening me with hell!

Andretti: So what? Its up to you to choose if you want me to help you or pay with hell!

Mr. Kane goes over to Andretti who prepares for a fight, but Mr. Kane stops right in front of him

Mr. Kane: Over there at my desk, is an envelope, containing some money and with that money i will pay you to "protect" me and the IWO!

Andretti looks at the desk. There lies the envelope containing the money.

Mr. Kane: If you leave my office, with that threat intact.. its you that will have hell to pay!

Mr. Kane: Im waiting...

Joe walks over and takes the bag.

Andretti: Fine. But next time I won't give in so easy.

Joe puts the envelope in his shirt pocket and leaves the room.
